Charming old hotel, very friendly staff, nicely decorated room. Lots of pastries and fruit at breakfast. Peaceful location in the local area, just next door to frequent buses going into town, centre, and 2 good pub/restaurants: D

The hotel was what I enjoyed during the christmas. I stayed here for 2 nights, the venue was delightful, with easy location next to the lovely Bathampton Mill restaurant and England and a large. The rooms were airy and top-notch, with huge very comfortable 4 poster bed.

Very nice old house, very friendly staff. Great breakfast. And although the house is already old, the technology like WLAN etc. worked very well. Highly recommended.

The friendly and efficient service, lovely room and other facilities, and the super breakfast. And all at a very reasonable price for a (deservedly) 4-star hotel.

Its location was great and so close to the centre of Bath. I also liked that the rooms appeared to all be unique with traditional decor. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was great
I felt the room that we had was a little small and didn't like that the bathroom didn't have a sink in it. A few times we also came back to the hotel and there were no parking spaces left.

Peaceful ambiance with a quaint charm, including beautiful ceiling details and a cozy lounge area. The breakfast spread offers an excellent selection, with high-quality local ingredients and the option for a hot meal.
Some areas need a fresh touch, like the restaurant where a broken window detracts from the vibe. Despite a spacious suite, the mattress didn't deliver a good night's sleep, and the check-in setup is minimalistic, lacking the usual tidy reception feel. The decor, while charming, shows signs of wear, which some might find off-putting.

Romantic old-styled hotel. Friendly and efficient staff.
The building is rather old. The shower didn't work. Fortunately the hotel wasn't busy and they immediately moved us in another (bigger) room. Uncomfortable mattress. King-size bed has actually two single mattress. WiFi not working, even in common areas, but there is a computer freely available in the lounge.

how friendly the staff were and the views
i thought for the price it was a tiny room and tiny bathroom considering some of the places i have stayed for less money and had a better room.
